We manufacture fingerboards for violins, violas, cellos, and double basses in all
sizes and shapes. Our fingerboards are available either arched or with a flattened
top. We can offer you everything from medium to top grade. Our products also include
guitar fretboards, ebony blanks, and ebony veneer.
All our fingerboards are made of naturally seasoned ebony. We have an extensive blank
store with large stocks of wood. This is where the sawn blanks are seasoned for five
years or more before being further processed. Natural drying of the wood over several
years gives our fingerboards excellent strength, even with the changing seasons.
The quality of our products is our top priority. We set great store by eco-friendly
manufacturing. This includes the optimum recovery of wood waste. We press sawdust and
grinding dust into pellets which are then burnt for fuel. That not only effectively
reduces our heating bills but also makes an active contribution toward protecting our
environment.
